Bangladesh Mashoor-ul Haque Memorial High School and College, commonly known as Bangladesh M. H. M. School, is a private school for boys and girls in Qatar. It is a charitable institution managed by the Bangladesh Embassy. It is the largest private school in Qatar, primarily catering to the large Bangladeshi expatriate population.

Established in 1979, the institution educates expatriate children, particularly Bangladeshi. It follows the English curriculum of NCTB of Bangladesh. The school is affiliated with both the Bangladesh Secondary and Higher Secondary Curriculum of BISE, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The language of communication on the campus is strictly English. Fluency in spoken and written English is an important basic qualification of the persons seeking appointment to a teaching post in the school.

Established in the 1979s, the school has an excellent record of discipline, academic and extra-curricular achievements.

It is located on the outskirts of the city of Doha, in the area known locally as Abu Hamour. Established in 1979, the institution educates expatriate children, particularly Bangladeshi. It follows the English curriculum of NCTB of Bangladesh. The school is affiliated with both the Bangladesh Secondary and Higher Secondary Curriculum of BISE, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The language of communication on the campus is strictly English. The Institution is recognized by the Ministry of Education, State of Qatar and affiliated to Dhaka Board, Bangladesh. It prepares students for Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examinations. The academic standard of the Institution is comparable with any other well-known School & College in Bangladesh. Pupils of this Institution on transfer to Bangladesh are eligible for admission to any School or College in Bangladesh as practically all Schools and Colleges in Bangladesh follow the same pattern of Education. The Secondary School Certificate(S.S.C.) and Higher Secondary Certificate(H.S.C) are generally recognized as qualifications for admission to Universities in the U.S.A., Canada, Australia, the U.K. and other European and Asian countries. English and Bengali are taught as first languages while Arabic is offered as 3rd language. As a result, pupils of this Institution become bilingual after completion of their academic life.

History

Brigadeer Mohammed Mashoor-ul Haque, the first Bangladeshi ambassador to Qatar called a meeting with some of his fellow countrymen, and during that meeting Bangladesh Education Society (B.E.S) was formed. This society was entrusted with the responsibility of forming the new educational institution, and on 22 June 1979, the school opened under the flag of Bangladesh in a hired building.

School uniform

Boys: Navy blue pants, white shirt, and a blue tie for grades Kindergarten to 10, a red tie for grades 11 to 12, a coat or blazer for college students with white socks and black shoes. Thursday:'House-coloured' t-shirt, white trousers, white socks, and white sneakers.
Girls: Navy blue pinafore, white scarf, tie, white socks, and black shoes. Older girls wear a Navy blue salwar-kameez. Students of the college wear white cross-belts while the school girls wear navy blue cross-belts.[citation needed] Thursday:-White pinafore, 'house-coloured' scarf, white socks and white sneakers/shoes.
